Paintbond

  • Paintbond 200

An acidic, liquid chemical which when diluted in warm water will simultaneously degrease and form a thin, protective phosphate conversion coating on steel, zinc and aluminium surfaces prior to painting. It can be used by dip or spray (tunnel or washing machine) process. Phosphate coatings produced by this product are in the range 0.3 - 1.0 g/m2 and comply with DEF STAN 03-11/3 Class IV and EN 12476:2000 Feph, previously BS 3189 (1973) Type 4.

  • Paintbond 300

A liquid chemical which when diluted in warm water will simultaneously degrease and form a thin, protective phosphate conversion coating on steel, zinc and aluminium surfaces. It has been specifically developed for use by dip processes. Phosphate coatings will produce coating weights in the range 0.3 - 1.0 g/m2 and comply with DEF STAN 03-11 Class IV and with EN 12476:2000 Feph, previously BS 3189 (1973) Type 4.

  • Paintbond 310

A liquid chemical which when diluted in warm water will simultaneously degrease and form a thin, protective phosphate conversion coating on steel, zinc and aluminium surfaces. It can be used by dip or spray (tunnel or washing machine) processes. Phosphate coatings on steel are usually 0.2 - 0.4 gram/m2 and comply with DEF STAN 03-11/3 Class IV and EN 12476:2000 Feph, previously BS 3189 (1973) Type 4.

  • Paintbond 310 SL

Paintbond 310 is a liquid chemical which can not only be used in fixed dip or spray plants but also through high pressure hot water or steam generating spray lance equipment to simultaneously degrease and phosphate steel, zinc and aluminium surfaces. The coatings on steel are usually 0.2 - 0.4 gram/m2 and comply with DEF STAN 03-11/3 Class IV and BS 3189 (1973) Type 4.

  • Paintbond 330

Paintbond 330 Is a carefully formulated liquid concentrate. It has been formulated to s imul taneous l y degrease and phosphate mi ld s teel component s pr ior to paint ing operations. Applied by spray techniques Phosphate coatings on steel are usually 0.4 - 1.0 gram/m2 and comply with DEF STAN 03-11/3 Class IV and EN 12476:2000 Feph, previously BS 3189 (1973) Type 4.

  • Paintbond 400Z

An acidic, liquid chemical which when diluted in warm water gives a micro crystalline structured zinc nickel phosphate coating, when applied by spray or dip, to both zinc and steel surfaces. The coating weight of 2.0 - 3.0 g/m2 has excellent anti-corrosion and paint adhesion characteristics. The coating meets DEF STAN 03-11/13 Class III, EN12476:2000 Znph, previously BS 3189 (1973) Type 3.

  • Paintbond 550

An acidic liquid chemical which when diluted in warm water will simultaneously degrease and form a protective Zirconium conversion coating on aluminium, zinc and steel surfaces. It imparts a significantly greater durability to total systems on steels than conventional single stage cleaner/coaters. It can be used by Spray (Line or Chamber/Washing machine) or Immersion.

  • Paintbond 550B

An acidic liquid chemical which when diluted in warm water will simultaneously degrease and form a protective Zirconium conversion coating on aluminium, zinc and steel surfaces. It imparts a significantly greater durability to total systems on steels than conventional single stage cleaner/coaters. It can be used by Spray (Line or Chamber/Washing machine) or Immersion.

  • Paintbond 551

An acidic liquid chemical which when diluted in warm water will simultaneously degrease and form a protective Zirconium conversion coating on aluminium, zinc and steel surfaces. It imparts a significantly greater durability to total systems on steels than conventional single stage cleaner/coaters. It can be used by Spray (Line or Chamber/Washing machine) or Immersion.

  • Paintbond 600Z

An acidic liquid chemical which when diluted in warm water gives a fine, smooth zinccalcium phosphate coating on steel and zinc surfaces. Used by dip, the coating weight will normally be in the range 4 - 6 g/m2. The process can be accelerated with PB Toner Crystals (MP0227) or Solution Z (MP0228), producing coatings that meet the requirements of EN 12476:2000 type ZnCaph, BS 3189 (1973) Type 3 and DEF STAN 03-11/1 Class III, but heavier coatings can be obtained by operating at higher temperatures without Toner, to meet the requirements Type 2 and Class II.

  • Paintbond 900M

An acidic, liquid chemical which when diluted in near-boiling water gives heavy manganese-iron phosphate coating on iron and steel. Used by dip, the process gives a coating with very high corrosion resistance and also lubricant retention for components subject to wear. The coating conforms to DEF STAN 03-11/2 Class I and EN 12476:2000 Mnph, previously BS 3189 (1973) Type 1A.
