Alficoat 790 - Alficoat 791 is a film-forming no-rinse chromating agent suitable for various metals and combining the advantages offered by conversion treatment and polymer films. Due to the unique dry film structure consisting of a conversion layer and a polymer film on top of it, Alficoat 790 – Alficoat 791 ensures optimal corrosion protection and offers an excellent adhesion base for subsequent coatings.
Alficoat 790 - Alficoat 791 is suitable for the pretreatment of iron, steel and
galvanised surfaces, but also for aluminium alloys, and it is employed in
dipping and spraying plants. The system has been approved for application
by the quality association GSB International (no. 303 e, aluminium
pretreatment).
Alficoat 790 – Alficoat 791 is a no-rinse product and does therefore not
require final rinses after application. A low solid matter content and special
additives improve the draining behaviour.
