Alfideox 79 is an additive in powder form used to prepare and maintain the concentration of a nitric acid or sulphuric acid clarifying and pickling bath for aluminium and its alloys.
Alfideox 79 is excellently suitable for the removal of hardly soluble alloy
constituents such as copper, lead etc., for which conventional pickling and
clarifying baths often are not sufficient. The suitable combination of acids
must be determined through preliminary tests.
Alfideox 79 can be analysed, thus making possible monitored bath
operation.
