Alfiflex 492 is an electrolytic brightening bath especially suitable for mechanically polished aluminium.
Alfiflex 492 contains no chromates and is therefore easy to use, especially
with regard to wastewater treatment. Since the brightening result depends
to a large degree on the material used, the choice of the material is especially
important.
Alfiflex 492 produces excellent brightness and high reflection values
provided a suitable, homogenous material is used. When alloys are treated,
the loss of brilliancy due to the anodizing process must be taken into consideration!
