Alfipas 752 is a chromium-free, environmentally friendly corrosion protection system which has been specifically developed for the pre-treatment of steel surfaces. Used in conjunction with a suitable cleaning intensifier (Alfisid), it is possible to clean metallic surfaces and protect them against corrosion in a single process step. The protective layer generated by this method provides the ideal base for subsequent coatings.
Thanks to its optimised corrosion protective properties, Alfipas 752 offers a real alternative to classic iron phosphating and can replace the latter in the relevant pre-treatment baths. The amount of phosphate sludge which normally occurs during phosphating procedures is minimized by using Alfipas 752. Therefore costs can be reduced significantly.
To enhance corrosion protection, Alfipas 752 can also be used following an existing phosphating or cleaning process. This liquid product can be automatically dosed and is also suitable for pre-treating galvanised surfaces before coating.
Alfipas 752 is highly effective in a broad range of concentrations and temperatures, depending on the application conditions, and is preferably used in spray systems. Its use in dip applications is also possible to a limited extent. Higher temperatures are generally only required if Alfipas 752 is used to clean the metal surfaces as well.
