To overcome the problem of dealing with lightly corroded surfaces prior to painting, these impregnated cloths have been formulated to both remove light oils and give a derusting action to steels. Meaning that subsequent painting processes can be undertaken with a very significant gain in anti-corrosive properties.
Used by a simple wipe-on/wipe-off procedure, these very absorbent cloths can create a rust-free surface for many subsequent processes – particularly aqueous phosphating.
