Two-photon polymerization (2PP) is one of the most versatile techniques for additive microfabrication. As polymeric micro-optics are becoming increasingly important for compact sensor and imaging applications as well as for integrated photonic components, 2PP enables rapid prototyping and direct manufacturing of 2.5D and 3D polymer micro-optics with sub-micrometre resolution. Additionally, 2PP has shown great potential for mastering in combination with scalable replication technologies such as NIL. Our expert in this issue of our monthly webinar “Meet the experts”, is Dr. Jochen Zimmer from Nanoscribe. He will provide deeper insights into the current state of the art at Nanoscribe and the resulting innovative applications.
