Alfideox 72 is a phosphoric acid deoxidising and pickling agent for aluminium and its alloys, for iron and steel and under certain conditions also for galvanised surfaces. Iron and steel should be pretreated only in combination with special rust-inhibiting tensides of the type Ferrosid. The pretreated surfaces offer a good basis for subsequent chromating or phosphating procedures.
Alfideox 72 can be used in dipping and in spraying plants. Due to the weak
surface removal, Alfideox 72 is especially suitable for high-alloy aluminium
alloys for turned parts and casting aluminium alloys.
