Ronaclean 201 Alkaline Cleaner datasheet.pdf
Ronaclean 201 is a cleaner for dip applications. It can be used as a soak cleaner or electrolytically in anodic or cathodic mode. Ronaclean 201 is a well balanced silicate free mixture of cleaning salts, chelating agents and softeners. The use of the separate wetting agent, Ronaclean 202 Concentrate, and sodium hydroxide makes it possible to compose a range of powerful special purpose cleaning solutions for a variety of applications using the three base products.

Ronaclean 202
Ronaclean 202 is an acidic cleaner free from strong complexing agents and NPE’s. Ronaclean 202 is designed for cleaning sensitive copper surfaces as well as printed circuit boards as the first stage in pattern plating. Ronaclean 202 may be used in conjunction with Ronetch PS (30 g/l) to produce a clean, active copper surface prior to subsequent electroplating in any of the Copper Gleam processes. Ronaclean 202 may also be used as a cleaner/conditioner prior to barrel nickel plating of MLCC’s.

Ronaclean 500
Ronaclean 500 is a liquid, alkaline cleaner designed to degrease and clean contaminated surfaces of iron, steel, copper and copper alloys. Ronaclean 500 can be used as a soak cleaner or as an electrolytic degreaser capable of removing oils and lubricants, such as cutting fluids used in machining and metal forming. Ronaclean 500 cleaner does not contain any cyanides or EDTA. Ronaclean 500 contains only small quantities of wetting agents and can therefore be used in either anodic or cathodic mode for continuous plating of wire or connector strip in reel-to-reel systems. Ronaclean 500 cleaning solutions have a relatively long working life enabling low cost production. The dispersion agents in the cleaner assist in binding contaminating particles and even permit the use of hard tap water for solution make up. Simple neutralisation of drag-out rinse water will produce a non - hazardous effluent. Further advantages: 1. Low make up concentration 2. Liquid concentrate eliminates need to dissolve salts 3. Diluted solution is ready for immediate use 4. No sticking of particles to tanks, pumps or recuperators. 5. Simple solution maintenance
