Alfideox 84 is an acid, fluoride-free deoxidising agent for aluminium and its alloys. Under certain conditions it is also suitable for galvanized parts. The pretreated surface offers a good basis for subsequent corrosion protection procedures.
Alfideox 84 can be used by immersion and in spraying plants. When Alfisid
14 (in spraying plants) or Alfisid 16/3 (by immersion) is added, the product
can be used as an acid degreasing for the cleaning and activation of
surfaces in one single process step.
Alfideox 84 has good deoxidising properties. Therefore, it is also suitable for
clarification of problematical aluminium alloys.
