Alfipas 735/1 is a liquid, chrome(VI)-free conversion treatment for aluminium and its alloys. The properties of the product which consists of trivalent chrome compounds are comparable to those of conventional yellow chromating. Alfipas 735/1 can be used especially for the pre-treatment of anodized aluminium surfaces e.g. such as cast alloys for automotive applications. This allows improvement in the corrosion protection of such substrates and Alfipas 735/1 will be performed instead of a usual nickel-/cobalt–containing cold sealing procedure here. Alfipas 735/1 can also be used for corrosion protection on powder-painted and unpainted goods. This product information describes the application on anodized aluminium surfaces.
Alfipas 735/1 complies with the RoHS directive and can therefore also be used for the pretreatment of electrical and electronic components. Colourless layers are formed on anodized goods.
Alfipas 735/1 works in a broad range of concentrations and temperatures and can be employed by immersion and spraying procedures.
