Defoamer 46/1 is a highly efficient, silicon-free special anti-foaming agent for use in E6 long-term etching baths and alkaline etching solutions (E0) in which foam has formed.
Defoamer 46/1 has been developed for alkaline etching processes that have been contaminated by tensides / surfactants from upstream cleaning steps, thus causing foaming.
Defoamer 46/1 is particularly suitable for long-term etching systems of the Alfisatin product line. Its compatibility with other etching systems should be verified by conducting pretesting.
